Do You Get Your Hair Professionally Done?

If not,do you style and maintain your own hair?why?

For me,I’ve been going to the salon for almost 11 years now but I just changed my stylist earlier this year.It’s expensive,but she knows what she’s doing and she’s very professional.

Naw, I did when I had relaxed hair. I estimate I spent up to $4000 on weaves and relaxers. I went every 8 weeks like clockwork for a touch up. I would never apply a relaxer myself. I did that for abour 7 years from age 13-20.

But now I am going natural and I am saving so much money. I love learning how to do my own hair, I was so clueless about it for most of my life, even before my first relaxer. I do my own hair for many reasons. It’s cheaper and it’s not always easy but many stylists have no clue abiut Natural Hair so it’s just safer to do it myself. Plus it’s fun. I shampoo weekly, I condition myself, I style myself, it’s not that hard.
